Hrm. Perhaps a Righteous Authority or two for late-game action?

Other than that, this looks pretty sweet. +1!

I like it! Big fan of Bant. Personally though I would try Revenge of the Hunted or Blessings of Nature over Increasing Savagery if you are looking for FAST beatdown. Only drawback though is drawing them and not being able to miracle them. But might be worth the risk considering the speed you are trying for here. Either way... +1 from me!

That may a good sb card against board wipes. Thanks.

I don't really like the argument that says Revenge of the Hunted and Blessings of Nature are faster than Increasing Savagery . They really aren't. Sure, you might get lucky and top-deck one while you have a creature out, but Increasing Savagery on Invisible Stalker is turn-3 card:Avacyn's Pilgrim. Revenge of the Hunted only buffs for one turn, and on Stalker, nothing can block it and it goes back to a 1/1 on the next turn.

And Increasing Savagery can be used again for ten +1/+1 counters in the late-game. Having that extra bit of value (since you'll always have games where you get 7 mana) makes it worth running over the other two, IMHO.

I had Revenge of the Hunted and it's basically dead in my opening hand. Not to mention if there is a board wipe, the flashback from Increasing Savagery on Stalker could be a 1 swing win.

Sigarda is perfect for this deck and in general because of no more image . It also seems more controllable against decks like zombies and aggro which is tough to fight against .

I ran a deck very much like this at States this past weekend and got destroyed. The main problem was that I wasn't getting the right mana. Aggro decks (RDW and Azorius Aggro) ran over me.

IMO, the best card in this deck is Invisible Stalker with a rancor on him.

I guess you can consider Curiosity ? Put it on Invisible Stalker or on a creature with Trample. Don't ask me what to take out for that though ;). The deck looks really nice dude! +1 (I couldn't give +2...)

I'd take out the 2x card:Rogue's Passage and put in other lands (you're playing 3 colours which is hard enough to get the right mana so you want every useful land there is for that...besides, you've already got 12 sources in this deck which are either unblockable or give your creatures trample).

I'd also take out Safe Passage for more Feeling of Dread . The lather one is a great card to stall the game with or to tap their creatures while you're attacking. For 4 mana you can cast it and flash it back tapping 4 creatures...that's the same as Safe Passage in a lot of situations, except you can use it while attacking.

Safe Passage stops all the damage they do to me so I can swing and cast after they block. They die and I don't. It also prevents damage from Blood Artist , Bonfire of the Damned , and Pillar of Flame .

The only thing I'm thinking about adding is Syncopate . Catch aggro decks off guard whether it's a creature or burn.

Also Lone Revenant would be nice to have on am empty board.

Safe Passage doesn't stop Blood Artist from making you lose life.

Damage causes loss of life. Loss of life doesn't cause damage.

I like Syncopate . When an opponent taps out for a spell (and all decks do), it's better than Counterspell .

Yeah, I was thinking of Witchbane Orb for Blood Artist . I do think Syncopate can catch people off guard.

Are you playing this deck in FNM ireman4life? If yes, how is it doing? Good results?

What about Rootborn Defenses to make your dudes indestructable (your only problem is board whipes)? You can use him as well with Geist of Saint Traft to keep an angel token.

ireman4life says... #22

I used it last Friday and went 2-2. I made quite a few changes based on what I saw and worked on the mana base. After tomorrow night I'll post a real update. Rootborn Defenses seems alright, but most board wipes now are Terminus , so the indestructible can't help with that, and for the token I can only use it on offense.

I'm really enjoying enchantment decks with the inclusion of Ethereal Armor in RtR. I hadn't even seen this one when I made mine, Ethereal Stalker, and it came out very similar.

Have you considered using card:Alchemist's Refuge in place of Moorland Haunt ? If it's on the field, you can use it to flash in a Rancor on GoST's angel token and the Rancor would just go back to your hand when the token gets exiled. Chump blocking flying tokens are common right now and being able to swing with a 6/4 angel with trample on turn 4 (ideal situation) would be nice.

Were the charms useful? I play almost the same deck, but with Sphere of Safety and oring. They pump Ethereal Armor and help against aggro decks. However, I should try those charms.

I like that idea. Though I like that 1/1 spirit. I have made that token a 15/13 Flying, Trample, First Strike lol
