BB Mana Efficient-Control/Mill

Casual

Planeswalker (4)

This is my actual casual black/blue control/milldeck. It is mana efficient, the most 'expensive' card is the Consuming Aberration with 5. Mostly for the mid-end game. I did nit put any counterspell-like cards in this deck. I want to concentrate on milling the deck of my opponent, but also keep the creatures of them at ease with the mana web and propaganda cards. The decks i played since i started playing about 2 months ago, are weeniedecks (allot of small creatures) and a white life gain-ajani's pridemate/chalice of life(and death)deck inbuild for my girlfriend. Also, i've put only 18 lands in it, sounds like a risk but i also see this as efficient with evolving wilds in it. If nesessary, a terramorpic expanse can be added.

But first things first, this is my theory and the way i expirience my deck:

At the start, the chance is big that i have 2/3 1 mana cards like hedron crab, thought scour etc, and most of the time 2 lands. I start with a island, or dual land with a island. I want to get hedron crab out soon, so i can use it with evolving wilds and/or dimir aqueduct. Those aqueduct's make my landtotal 20 (16 usable). So, after about 3 or 4 turns, there are enough cards in the opponent's graveyard by one crab alone. This could be much quicker if i have a tome/thought scour's, with the last one as extra advantage that i can draw a card. For preventing the early damage, fog bank is my best friend. Then it depends on what my opponent does, i can go for the charge with the phantasm's, or slow him down drastic with mana web and/or propaganda and, very important for his or her selfmilling, chronic flooding is great for 2 mana only. Then, at the 3 mana stage, i also can choose to protect my creatures against thunderbolt- or pacifism like cards they throw at me often with a kira. Especially if they have trouble attacking me. If that's not nesessary, i will keep trowing mind funeral's and other mill cards to ensure my aberrations make a dramatic entrance. Most of the time, the deck is up to 3/4 milled and if i could use the phantasm's the life will be pretty low. I'm happy with this deck, because it is mana efficient and effective. Also, i've put only 18 lands in it, and because the evolving wild's represent 4 basic lands (and again, work great with hedron crab) it leaves room for extra other spells.

The sidedeck is just a thought, things like murderlike cards, or planeswalker can be added but i think it is pretty complete for my purpose. Ofcourse, feedback is welcome! ;)

(Ow yeah, there are 61 cards in it, that's only because i want something different ;)
