Walls finally have a new meaning in modern. With Assault Formation walls are finally good again. Who wants to pay over $100 for some tree dude deck when you can pay under $25 for a wall dude deck! Start out the game with defenses such as... well everything. Use Order of the Stars to block out everything that comes you're way. Use Perimeter Captain and Steel Wall for some life gain and early creatures. Then, use Dragon's Eye Savants, Wall of Denial, and Wall of Frost with Assault Formation and Rolling Stones to go on the offensive. Imagine the table flipping when you get a 18/18 Wall of Frost with Slagwurm Armor and Shape the Sands on turn 5 using Assault Formation (yes I know the wall isn't really 18/18). Hope you like the deck. Suggestions and +1's are always appreciated. Just a note, but I'm trying not to add anything that has power or can increase a creature's power directly.
