My version of the typical Skred Red deck.
Koth of the Hammmer can be used to power out guys, as well as provide a win con in his ultimate and +1.
Demigod of Revenge needs no explanation.
Boros Reckoner is aggressive, powerful, and an excellent target for a late-game Skred.
Lightning Bolt is Lightning Bolt. If your red deck isn't running four, you are running red wrong.
Skred
, because an instant for 'R' that says "destroy target creature is completely fair.
Pyroclasm and
Volcanic Fallout
are nifty little sweepers, and will hit the Reckoner for two (which you can then redirect)
Anger of the Gods exists for when you need a bit more oomph, or when the things you kill don't seem to want to stay dead. Cough, cough, Bloodghast, cough, cough.
Pyrite Spellbomb is a cantrip and spot removal. I'm certainly not going to complain.
Relic of Progenitus serves as both a cantrip and some players' worst nightmare. In a world where burn decks are splashing blue to get Treasure Cruise, keeping graveyards under control is very important. A 8cmc card simply isn't castable. And that is good for us.
Last but not least, Blood Moon. Not entirely sure what Wizards was thinking when they printed it back in The Dark, or when they included it in Chronicles, or when they thought it would be smart to reprint it in 8th, then AGAIN in 9th, edition coresets, but here it is. The massive, round, middle finger to every deck ever. Seriously. Fetches? They're mountains now. Shocks? Mountains. Tectonic Edge? Mountain.
Enjoy, and remember, it is not humanly possible to cast a
Cryptic Command
with a Blood Moon in play.
