A creature heavy, budget deck I've been working on for awhile. My deck mainly plays around Knight Exemplar buffing and giving my other creatures indestructible.
Control & Utility
Mana Tithe ideally to counter spells early game or later when they would normally be tapped out for mana. Can also be used to force the tapping of extra mana preventing further spell casting.
Path to Exile,Oblivion Ring, Wrath of God, and Naturalize speak for themselves.
Ghostly Prison if I do get overwhelmed, GP will be used to control tempo and force players to choose between casting spells, activating abilities, or attacking.
Riders of Gavony not essential to the deck but gives my human knights some support by offering protecting of a creature type while on the board.
Mark of Asylum will help against burn spells and cards that force creatures to fight. I think it will also prevent infect decks from putting counters on your creatures if they do not deal damage during combat.
Creatures
Knight of Meadowgrain for 2 white mana I'd say this is a card that's pretty worth for its first strike and lifelink.
Citadel Castellanthere are definitely better cards out there but I put this in here for it's vigilance and renown ability; it's one of two cards that would best benefit from Shield of the Oversoul.
Mirran Crusader a card that will help when playing against green & black, and with double strike to boot. Considering upping the three copies and taking Kinsbaile Cavalier, who will give my other knights double strike(the main reason its in my deck)down to 2 copies.
Fiendslayer Paladin another 3 drop that has both first strike and lifelink with added protection from red and black.
Leonin Skyhunter a 2 drop flyer that will help me beat flyers and big creatures my opponents control.
Wilt-Leaf Liege an expensive card that also buffs both white and green creatures! Another card that would benefit from Shield of the Oversoul
