Interesting! I love Sky Hussar. Really creative design.

I'd recommend putting a basic island in there, just in case a creature receives a Path to Exile and you need {U}, you're cracking a fetch on low life, or your opponent plays a Blood Moon, you'll still be able to cast your {U} spells.

Perhaps more copies of Auriok Champion should go to your sideboard.

I'm interested as to why you didn't add Ajani's Pridemate. Is the metagame too removal-heavy for it nowadays? Same goes for Kor Skyfisher.

I'd also think about having Sundering Growth instead of Disenchant. In fact, thanks to Detention Sphere, I don't even think you need Disenchant at all! Maybe put a planeswalker or two in its stead, or perhaps a Celestial Purge, although, with all the Auriok Champions, you might not need it. Heck, with the overabundance of Humans, Linvala, Keeper of Silence might be a good choice.

TKDbeast: Hey..thanks for the feedback. Ajani's Pridemate wasn't added because the deck was heading towards a token generation engine (going wide) direction rather than going tall. I also think that it doesn't impact the board and is often another vanilla creature without the soul sisters in play. I think the 1-of basic island is a good idea, I would have to test that out. The reason why I use disenchant is because I run 5 colorless source, and the inability to hold up 2 plains at a crucial moment might spell the difference between a gameloss or chance at victory. I think you're right about detention sphere being more than enough actually, I might have to relook at my sideboard again. Thanks again!

How does Soul Sisters fare in the current meta, anyways? I know it has dropped off of a lot of WotC listings.

TKDbeast: I think Soul Sisters is great in my local meta (people run more beatdown decks/burn that soul sisters are good against)...but it is pretty much a toss up in a GP/SCG tournament settings. This deck pretty much loses to combo decks (storm and breach seems to be gaining popularity) game 1 and will be fighting an uphill battle post-sideboard with aggressive mulligans. Midrange decks like Jund/Mardu is also on the rise which is a very good matchup for me.

I love this. Hot new take on Soul Sisters. I was thinking of a Soul Sisters Monument deck myself, using Oketra's Monument, Ballyrush Banneret, Squadron Hawk, and Legion Conquistador, and Ranger of Eos for a ramping card advantage package while going wide.

I really like the forecast card for card advantage though -- it makes a lot of sense in your build. I also like how you've planned on curving into an answer-me-now threat in Archangel of Thune. Traditional Soul Sisters lacks a blowout bomb like this. How has this been performing in Modern events?

JakeHarlow: Thanks for the comment. Your take on Monument Sisters seems cool, do you have a decklist? In my local meta, my best record is 3-1 against a mostly midrange centric opponents (lost to the one u/r storm deck). I'm still in the process of playtesting and tweaking as I go but I find that having a sideboard dedicated to fight its weakness has been decent so far.

I feel like Dryad Militant might be able to pad up that UR Storm matchup a bit.

Yeah, here's my Soul-Monument deck list, if you want to have a look. I haven't tested it yet, really.

It might not even need the life gain aspect, honestly, lol. Maybe my list would be better off running 3x Kytheon, Hero of Akros  ^Flip and 4x Dryad Militant instead of the Sisters. Let me know what you think?

I love this deck and I think sky hussar is great tech in it, however your exemplary boardstate is not possible. You're forgetting that Oketra's monument is legendary....
