Awesome deck, I really enjoy cheap black aggro!

Augmenting Automaton , Dimir Guildmage , Grimclaw Bats , Order of the Ebon Hand and Null Champion are all cheap creatures that can help you use your mana if it ever gets to the mid or even late game. Guildmage is the most expensive, but would be extremely useful if your opponent forces you into a long drawn out stalemate. Grimclaw Bats can fly over many blockers, but is weak for its cost, Automaton is cheap and has "tomato" in its name but needs 2 Mana and is weak and Order is stronger, but less cheap and also needs 2 Mana. Can get First Strike though. Null Champion is weak and expensive at first, but will be extremely useful once you find the Mana to level him up.

In your Maybe Board, you have Twisted Experiment . Sinister Strength is probably better (unless you want to use Experiment as a possible removal).

GoblinsBeatElves on $9 bat tribal!

Love the idea here! I’m a big fan of tribal decks, especially the lesser played , budget ones. I might consider adding 1 more Gurmag Swiftwing. I’ve actually played it in a deck I made and it has been pretty good. Maybe over 1 Grimclaw Bats? Anyways, that’s your choice.

Specifically regarding comments 2-5 on this deck, and to anyone who reads these comments: THIS DECK IS TRIBAL. The only requirements for a tribal deck (I’m almost certain) are the following:

  • The deck must have 10 or more creatures

  • 75% or more of those creatures must share a card type

A deck doesn’t have to have a tribal payoff (ex. Death Baron in a zombie deck) to be tribal. I just wanted to clarify that for anybody wondering. Again, nice deck!

AngryToken on Wall of Blood Rite of Consumption Fling

You could do with a playset of Grimclaw Bats for some recursion. I would also hiiiighly suggest dropping Damnation, as its silly expensive for what otherwise seems like a budget friendly build, and doesn't really accomplish much unless you run up on a tokens or aggro-y meta. If you're set on spending money on this, Death's Shadow is practically an auto include, since you can decide his stat line as you fling a wall (or bat, can't stress that enough) and threaten your opponent even after the combo, allowing you to keep a slightly higher life total to escape putting yourself in burn range.

Those two creature options also gove you room for a massive blow out with Temur Battle Rage, which threatens to end a game before you even have to Fling, and again, reduces threat by reducing your life investment.
