||Introduction||

An Ultra-Budget Token GW Centaur deck, with all cards costing under $1 (With a few exceptions, but I added cheaper alternatives to these cards). Focused on getting centaurs out fast with 1 and 2 drops, populating with sorceries and enchantments, and damage prevention with instants, so you can build up your board and prevent big nukes on your creatures from burn decks.

If you think this deck makes sense, give me some feedback by simply upvoting! Or leave a comment on what I can improve or cards that I can consider adding :)

||Explanations for card choices||

Pheres-Band Warchief, a staple in any centaur deck.

Centaur Healer for a little bonus health.

Centaur's Herald so you have a chance to block on Turn 1.

Trostani, Selesnya's Voice for more bonus health as you populate your centaurs. Keep in mind the legendary card rule when deciding when to play this card.

Vitu-Ghazi Guildmage for the RARE case where ALL your centaurs are at the bottom of your deck, you can still make centaurs and populate with him.

Call of the Conclave, a cheap 2 drop that synergises with your population.

Wake the Reflections for you to drop 4 3/3 Green centaur tokens for 4 white mana :").

Temple of Plenty as a dual land for it's useful scry ability.

Druid's Deliverance to make you indestructible (and to populate!)

Rootborn Defenses to make your creatures indestructible (also to populate again!).

Brave the Sands to get the most out of your centaurs against weenie decks, or when you put Shape the Sands/Snare the Skies on them. Shape the Sands, which help with flying, big damage creatures, and Snare the Skies which help with flying -1/-1 infect creatures, all work to counter green's general weakness against flying.

Growing Ranks, to make sure you get to have at least 2 creatures on your board at any time.Sundering Growth and Trostani's Judgment included as more population, and artifact, enchantment, and creature removal.

||Sideboarding!||

If playing against a Flying Infect deck, replace 3x Vitu-Ghazi Guildmage and 1x Growing Ranks with 4x Snare the Skies. Keep in mind that Druid's Deliverance DOES prevent damage that is dealt to you in poison counters. If you have a druid's deliverance in your hand, don't bother blocking with your creatures if you can drop it.

If playing against a Burn deck, replace 3x Vitu-Ghazi Guildmage and 1x Growing Ranks with 4x Shape the Sands. The extra toughness that Shape the Sands gives to one of your creatures is useful when your opponent uses his spells to try to nuke one of your creatures. Keep in mind that Druid's Deliverance only prevents combat damage to YOU, and your creatures won't be protected from nukes. Rootborn defenses work to rescue your creatures against burn.

If playing against Artifact Affinity decks, replace 3x Vitu-Ghazi Guildmage and 1x Growing Ranks with 4x Sundering Growth. Removal is key if you don't want your opponent to build his board up, which is easy with Affinity decks.

If playing against Eldrazi Ramp decks, or any other decks that focus on big damage, possibly flying creatures, replace 3x Vitu-Ghazi Guildmage with 3x Trotstani's Judgement, and 3x Growing Ranks, along with 1x Call of the Conclave with 4x Shape the Sands.

||Even more budget replacements!||

Replace 4x Temple of Plenty with 4x Tranquil Expanse or 4x Blossoming Sands. Replace 2x Trostani, Selesnya's Voice with 1x Growing ranks AND 1x Vitu-Ghazi Guildmage.

||Other Notes||

Cards in the Maybeboard are suggestions for less- budget replacements for this deck. Do suggest more non-budget options!

If you keep getting land screwed or color screwed, replace 2x Forests and 2x Plains with 4x Blossoming Sands. Consider adding 4x Alive//Well to ensure you have pure green centaur tokens.

||Conclusion||

Any and all suggestions welcome :).
