hi hi :D my name is chris (they/them). i love deckbuilding and i have been super into card games for as long as i can remember. although magic has usually been a more casual endeavor for me, i am ranked w/n the top 500 in legends of runeterra. my favorite thing in magic as of late has been the pauper format. i love the deckbuilding restrictions and how you end up using some obscure cards. if you want to see my pauper decks i do have a folder with them in it but i have also included some below, hope you enjoy! :)

Some of my favorite decklists:

• Kurve Fever (//) : name comes from an old game achtung die kurve. play through your deck with cards like Pieces of the Puzzle and Accumulated Knowledge. having a big graveyard makes Tolarian Terror cheap and Serpentine Curve big enough to throw at your opponent for lethal with Fling

• Legoland () : an elf deck i didn't even look at initially until i realised you could play through your entire library on turn 3 with a single forest. Nettle Sentinel and Birchlore Rangers interact so weirdly to make all the lil elven dorkers coming out essentially for free

• Best Deck in Pauper () : normally not a huge aggro fan but i really love how the Goblin Sledder/Mogg Raider sac trigger really adds some depth of interaction to combat and chucking goblins at your opponents face with Goblin Grenade will always be funny to me

• Iron Apprentice Counters (/) : a fave brew using only bulk commons available for the minimum price on cardkingdom. all of the modular cards like Iron Apprentice and Arcbound Prototype combined with things like Hunger of the Howlpack and Smell Fear can quickly spiral out of control

• Cowmbo (moo) () : this deck is so funny to me in part because of Bartered Cow on its own but i also love that this deck is mono-B despite the cow. Tortured Existence with 2x cows lets us turn black mana into food tokens which can in turn be used to bring back Cauldron Familiar or burn the opponents out with Mirkwood Bats

This idea is totally stolen from Gattison but i have a pauper deck for every color combo (32 total)

5 (mono color) + 10 (guilds) + 10 (tri-colors) + 5 (nephilim) + 2 (rainbow & mud) = 32 total
