I was going through my card collection and noticed i had a couple exalted cards. I don't know what colors are most effective for exalted so i decided to ask you guys. Anyone know what exalted decks are quick and easy to use?
The Cards I Have Are?
- Guardians of Akrasa
- Akrasan Squire
- Knight of Glory
- Battlegrace Angel
- Aven Squire
- Knight of Infamy
- Ethercaste Knight
- Angelic Benediction
- Cathedral of War

Would the deck be a little quicker if i just went or
? I definately don't have the money for the Noble lol. I used to have a
exalted that worked fairly well. I added in the god Athreos, God of Passage and was going to add in Sorin, Solemn Visitor and Gift of Orzhova before I took it apart

MTG_Beginner I would go with exalted. 4 Knight of Infamy, 4 Knight of Glory, Cathedral of War, Sublime Archangel, etc

Definitely want Knotvine Paladin in there, since he kinda doubles exalted, also you'd want support cards to give your attacking creature unblockable or trample.

alright, what's your opinion on Silent Arbiter? worth putting in? and would you recommend putting Athreos, God of Passage back in?
And also, would an Esper exalted deck work? I'm just thinking of other types of exalted deck that might work at least for casual play.

Havok.Bane: That's why I was thinking of an Esper deck. I could put in Invisible Stalker or cards like Daxos of Meletis or Infiltrate

Well, the problem with exalted decks is that a 1/1 creature can prevent a whole lot of effort and 100% of your damage. SO how do you change that? Silent Arbiter only accentuates the problem, Athreos, God of Passage is lackluster to say the least.
The cheaper option (which is the point of this deck) is the BW one, so lets go with that.
You need 4 of each 1 mana exalted dudes. Duty-Bound Dead and Akrasan Squire. 52 cards left.
Lets go with the two mana ones. Aven Squire, Knight of Glory, Knight of Infamy leaves us with 40 cards.
Final creature to add is 4 Sublime Archangel since it gets us evasion and a huge power boost. 36 cards left.
Next round up your protection/breaking through suite. 4 Path to Exile, 4 Emerge Unscathed, 2 Ajani, Caller of the Pride, 4 Go for the Throat. 22 cards left, all of which should be lands of Orzhov variety.
For the sideboard, go for some more early interactions that deal with different threats. More protection (3 Brave the Elements, 3 Refraction Trap), more removal (3 Vendetta is awesome for an aggro deck), graveyard interactions (3 Relic of Progenitus) and artifact/enchantment interaction (3 Disenchant).

An Exalted deck will almost always want to be Bant(

), for the simple reason of Noble Hierarch. A Bant deck could be fun, but most of the time, it's simply not fast enough to outpace most Modern decks. However, there's nothing wrong with building a fun, casual deck for Modern. I would suggest researching Exalted cards on Gatherer. Link to all Exalted cards in Bant colors in Modern here:
http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?text=+[Exalted]&color=%7C[W]%7C[U]%7C[G]&format=[%22Modern%22]&sort=cmc+.
Hope this helps!
