Best Ramp Effects

Commander Deck Help forum

With the spoiling of Harvest Season, I've remembered how I'm in need of more mana ramp for my Marath EDH deck. I have the basics like Mana Reflection, Doubling Cube, Earthcraft, etc but I need even more effects to provide me with additional mana. Reaching ridiculous amounts of mana lets this deck win incredibly fast so I'm looking for suggestions of any staples I might be missing or any cards that synergize well with Marath (like Harvest Season) to provide me with additional mana. Here's the deck so you know what ramp I already have Token Abuse.

Burgeoning, Exploration are fun. Doublers like Dictate of Karametra make things insane.

EDIT: You have Burgeoning already.

Nature's Will can lead to some decent pseudo ramp for your secondary main phase. Primal Growth is good for a token build as well. I'd also consider Wood Elves as it can search out any forest and Yavimaya Elder which gets you a couple of lands in hand and draws a card. I'm only suggesting the creatures because I see your running Burgeoning and Oracle of Mul Daya which, let you drop another land on your turn. Another creature to consider is Azusa, Lost but Seeking which also lets you drop more land per turn.

I've actually been considering taking burgeoning out considering it's an incredible turn 1 play but it's practically a useless draw any other time, I've tried to avoid exploration for similar reasons. As for dictate, I love the card but decks in my meta can abuse the extra mana just as well.

I have nature's will in the deck but it's actually never seen play yet, although it does seem useful. I just realized that wood elves is actually in the deck whereas dragonlair spider isn't so I'm going to make that adjustment right now but I'm not sure why I don't have yavimaya elder or, now that I think about it, Burnished Hart. Primal growth seems good but usually I'm trying to accomplish land ramp before I even get Marath out so I'm not sure how useful it will end up being, but I'll definitely give it a try. Azusa is definitely a strong card but it's mainly good for dumping lands from your hands early game, if you can draw a lot of cards then it's helpful to be able to dump multiple lands from your hand each turn but sadly naya doesn't have much card advantage so usually "play multiple land" effects are only good if I start with them and provide almost nothing later on; I definitely prefer effects with a little more advantage like oracle, she lets you play more than one land a turn but it's more important that you she lets you play a land off the top of your deck.

You do have a decent amount of ramp. 33 lands is sorta low so ~8-15 pieces of ramp are what I'd go with.

You have Nature's Lore which is awesome. Three Visits is its expensive buddy. I also like Farseek and Rampant Growth. You should add Kodama's Reach to go with Cultivate

Land-based ramp is good since most people frown upon land destruction. Folks are always destroying artifacts lol

All your options can be found at MagicalHacker - List of All Ramp Cards. I am not sure what types of ramp you specifically want, but you should be able to easily discover cards you want. :)
