Ashnod's Altar and Phyrexian Altar are some of the most combo-tastic cards in EDH, so I want to see just how many of those combos we can put together here. Who knows? I might build a deck with all of them afterward :)

I'll start: Oathsworn Vampire, Thalia's Geistcaller, and Phyrexian Altar=infinite etb/ltb triggers.

To make the thread more exciting, let's make it so you can only post one combo at a time, and have to wait for at least 2 others to comment before saying another. Please read the comments prior to yours for no repeats!

There are 100s of combos using those two cards. Here is one:

Ashnod's Altar + Nim Deathmantle + Phyrexian Triniform

With all of these in play, you can get Infinite colorless mana, infinite creature tokens, infinite ETB infinite LTB, infinite death triggers and infinite sacrifice triggers.

Sacrifice Phyrexian Triniform to Ashnod's Altar to add
Phyrexian Triniform and Nim Deathmantle both trigger.
Resolve Phyrexian Triniform's ability first, creating three Golem artifact creatures.
Sacrifice two Golems to Ashnod's Altar to add total.
Resolve the Nim Deathmantle trigger, paying the to return Phyrexian Triniform to the battlefield with Nim Deathmantle equipped.

Repeat for infinite tokens and mana.

Ashnod's Altar + Eldrazi Displacer + Sling-Gang Lieutenant

Sacrificing two tokens gets you four colorless mana. Blinking the original creature costs three mana. Repeat until you have infinite colorless, then spend that to blink the creature to produce infinite tokens. Then sacrifice infinite tokens to the creature’s ability to win the game.

Here is another one:

Adarkar Valkyrie + Phyrexian Altar + Thornbite Staff and any other creature

With all of these in play and the Thornbite Staff equipped to your Adarkar Valkyrie you can get:

Infinite colored mana, infinite ETB, infinite LTB, infinite death triggers and infinite sacrifice triggers.

tap Adarkar Valkyrie, targeting the additional creature. Sacrifice the creature to Phyrexian Altar, generating 1 mana of any color. Thornbite Staff triggers, untapping Adarkar Valkyrie. The creature returns to the battlefield under your control.

This lets you tailor your creatures for any ETB abilities you want to add to the combo. Pick a creature that has a damage ETB ability to get infinite damage. Pick one that creates a creature when it ETBs for infinite creatures. Adds customization to the combo.

MagicMarc you could use Pemmin's Aura instead of Thornbite Staff to forgo the infinite mana, but keep on untapping the Valkyrie with blue altar mana for infinite etbs.

That is another good way, plakjekaas, to combo using the Phyrexian Altar. I am a fan of that aura.

Here is another one:

Minion's Return + Phyrexian Altar + Sun Titan

You need all of them in play and Minion's Return enchanting your Sun Titan.

Then you sacrifice Sun Titan to Phyrexian Altar, generating 1 mana of any color.
Minion's Return triggers, returning Sun Titan to the battlefield.
Sun Titan triggers, returning Minion's Return to the battlefield.

Repeat forever

With this combo you get: Infinite colored mana, Infinite ETB, Infinite LTB, Infinite sacrifice triggers, and Infinite death triggers.

There are quite a few auras you can use instead of Minion's Return that will do the same thing.
