Sarkhan the Masterless lets any dragon with deathtouch immediately kill off any and all creatures that attack you. How likely is that, though? The only two dragons with deathtouch - Acid-Spewer Dragon and Dragonlord Silumgar - are six mana apiece and necessitate one or two more colours. That hardly seems worthwhile.

The secret? Cheap Lorwyn knock-offs. You can pay half the cost for Venomous Changeling or Moonglove Changeling, who both count as dragons and have (or can have) deathtouch. Skithiryx may not have deathtouch, but infect is almost as good, shrinking down attackers before they can land a hit. With your opponent's attackers deadlocked, a Crucible of Fire-boosted flight of dragons should beat him down at your leisure.
