This is a deck I've been obsessing over (literally) for a couple weeks now. At first it was just a passing, hey Domain is cool and I miss it, and it has turned into something interesting. I doubt it's tier anything, but it certainly has some game. I've played it a few times now on mtgo and it always does well even when it loses. This current version of the deck feels very good and is capable of winning games against some tier decks. It's not very tricky to pilot, just make sure you get your basic land types, after that just sequence according to the flow of the match, side board is mostly set up against affinity and go wide strategies. But also post board control like Tithing Blade
, we have maindeck life gain for burn, Crypt Incursion and Nihil Spellbomb are our best hope against Spy Combo lol. Otherwise, fingers crossed right? Lmao
Anyways, the deck is a work in progress and I'm teching in You See a Guard Approach. Mostly I just hate having my stuff blown up damnit lol. But it also offers soft board control to stop attacks, or to get an attack through. And I need more time with the deck to learn what works best where, to give it final tuning ya dig? I have yet to find a build very similar to mine out there so I will consider this an Original pauper brew all of my own until proven otherwise lmao. Idk why I called it The Library, I just like the name mostly and it has every color you could ask for lol. So... The Library? Hahah
The sideboard can be whatever you like, this works for me for now and may change later, the Elemental Blasts are too pricey for me at the moment or I'd likely include them in some way too.
