Earthcraft & Squirrel Nest isn't Infinite. Just hell of a lot squirrels. Now, If he was able to pull off this combo. and Play Parallel Evolution. That would be closer to Infinite.

Actually, Earthcraft+Squirrel Nest is infinite, as Earthcraft says "tap an untapped creature", not "creatures you control have tap: untap target basic land". They just enter tapped :(

I come back to say that you should totally make a commander squirrel deck with all the experience gained with this one.

Have you considered the combo Doubling Cube + Liege of the Hollows + Omnath, Locus of Mana ?

Nomeacuerdo: It would be insanely fun to make a EDH Squirrel deck at some point, tho' I'd probably just make it a G/W token deck. But I'm honistly not much into the whole EDH thing, not as in I don't want to, more that I don't have the necessary staples for EDH and I don't really have anyone to play against.

gunnerocka: I know, 61 cards rules~ I quite like to have around 60-64 cards in a deck, just because I can, it also never really bothers me or seems to affect my game, except I can have a few more card options, which is always nice. c:

irtrusco: Nope, I haven't even thought of that combo, never really noticed it to be honist, the cube and Omnath alone seems pretty sweet, maybe that combo should be used in a whole different squirrel deck, to make different varities, also keeps the game a little bit fresh, instead of using a single squirrel deck.

I like this deck, but I dont understand why Parallel Lives and/or Doubling Season are not mainboarded, you can get many many many many squirrels if they were, and very quckly too considering if you have 2 of either of those cards on the field, by summoning 1 squirrel you actually get 4 etc etc etc

Pidgeot: I've honestly never liked any of those two cards, tho' I do swap out the Earthcraft with the Parallel Lives if my opponent doesn't want me to use Earthcraft as it is a banned card in legacy and limited in vintage.

But yeah, it's not that they are bad cards, they're just boring and soooo many have suggested those two, it's almost getting annoying xD

Earthcraft is legal in vintage. You can run 4 copies.

Concordant Crossroads gives you all that Akroma's Memorial wants to offer you (namely haste), but at a 7th of the mana/actual cost.

although it should be noted it gives haste to both player's creatures.

Concordant Crossroads doesn't do that much for the deck in whole, as Akroma's Memorial does, surei t's nice with haste early on, but the opponent will get such as well. When I combo out and make a ton of squirrels, will they all be tapped anyway so Haste is not that important.

SFMufasa: Oh nice, it used to be Restricted last time I looked, but it's still banned in Legacy, so it doesn't do that much of a difference, but hell, this is a competitive casual deck, so it doesn't care much about stuff being legal or not c:

Hey, plus 1, it looks really damn fun. But I would suggest, possibly maybe, 2 Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx so the mana you produce is high enough to empty your hand. I know it's already been suggest though, but since you run 4 Arbor Elf's, why not run 4 Utopia Sprawl's, I mean it's 1 mana, and it stacks. Suddenly putting 4 on one land, makes that land produce 5 mana, then Untap it with arbor elf? I think it could work for you, in place of the more expensive nykthos option.

wow you actually made a good squirrel tribal. gg +1. It may sound dumb but maybe run Obelisk of Urd? you could convoke it quite easily with the amount of tokens you get.

Nim Deathmantle would go great with your Deranged Hermit skip the echo use that mana to resurrect it for more squirrels!!

Well yeah, that's why I have the combo, there is no such thing as too many squirrels

DisgruntledFetus I run 2 Mimic Vats in my Squirrel deck which has a similar effect to Nim Deathmantle. 5 Squirrels (potentially more with Parallel Lives) a turn for 3 Mana isn't a bad deal in my eyes! Also find running 1 or 2 Essence Warden helps you survive any early game aggression or flyers when you don't draw Eldrazi Monument, and siding Steely Resolve has helped me against some horribly timed Lightning Strikes. Props to Infral for this deck though, never had so much fun in Magic than with destroying people with Squirrels!

Gaea's Cradle solves all mana problems involving Squirrels or tokens in general (keep in mind that depending on where you get it it can be rather pricy)
