Trading and birthday —July 11, 2014
So, my deck was not even close to being done, and then heaven shined down on me. If you don't know already, this is the list I am TRYING to build, not the list I own. So, here is what happened in real life:
+4 Verdant Catacombs, +1 Misty Rainforest. Me and a good friend of mine is letting me borrow these cards, and he is holding on to my 4 Griselbrands (one of them being foil) to make sure he gets his cards back.
+4 Noble Hierarch. This one came from two things. I am getting 3 from relatives because my Birthday is coming up VERY soon. The other one I am buying off of someone in a trade.
So the expensive stuff... Done. Now, here is all I need:
1 Spellskite, 3 Inkmoth Nexus, 3 Might of Old Krosa.
I know the rest is about $60, but that is not at all too bad.
Sorry for the late response thispersonisagenius.
I actually playtested against a few tier decks, and after testing, I found out they take out Liliana of the Veil game 2 anyway.
As for Tectonic Edge , it may not be the best, but it still is amazing against UWR Control. I've also found out that Tec edge doesn't really hurt the mana base... at all.

You should tell the Rock/Jund/whatever player you tested against that they are doing it wrong. Liliana of the Veil is one of that archetype's best tools against you, as with all their Abrupt Decay s and Dismember and Terminate and other removal spells you are very rarely left with multiple creatures. She is bad against Inkmoth Nexus , but that's certainly no reason to sideboard it out.
Also, if you do see people sideboarding out Liliana of the Veil , that's even more of a reason to cut Dryad Arbor as it is basically a forest that comes into play tapped in a lot of matchups and isn't easily accessible via fetchlands when you really need it.
Another potential option instead of Tectonic Edge is Ghost Quarter , but I haven't tried it out myself. I'm amazed that you haven't had any mana issues, though. I could just be getting unlucky, but I still think going down to 1 is a good idea. If the game goes to turn 4-5+ against UWR Control, there's a pretty good chance that you're going to lose anyway and that Tectonic Edge only stalls out your demise.

I see your point... A response...
Ghost Quarter is definitely a strictly worse card then Tectonic Edge . Ghost quarter I have considered, but then I realized I only really want to activate those lands to deny the opponent mana and so when they are getting a land out of it, it kinda hurts. Also, it may cost 1 less to activate, but I really only want to activate the tec edge in the late game, and that's when I have mana open.
Also, I want your advice on something thispersonisagenius. What is your opinion of 4 Apostle's Blessing ? I am considering taking one out. I was considering running a single mainboard answer to Spellskite since it is a HUGE problem. Or, I was also considering running a single Predator's Strike or Unnatural Predation . I was thinking about the trample because they can easily play around my early attacks and block with something like Pestermite or Tarmogoyf and that's when you really want a creature with trample. Also, I know the blessing kind of deals with that already, but I feel 4 is too many imo.
Anyway, I want your opinion. Thanks in advance good buddy!

@TheGamer A couple things about the manabase. Since you're not playing Misty Rainforest and Verdant Catacombs , the Dryad Arbor is actually useless. It's main value is being fetched to sacrifice to Liliana of the Veil , so I would cut it for an extra Breeding Pool since you aren't getting much value out of it.
Treetop Village is not really played in Modern Jund decks anymore, as they prefer to run Raging Ravine as a full set nowadays. I'm not sure if Rock plays it, but nevertheless those Tectonic Edge are not that useful, and are much better served as extra Mana Confluence s, as having four colorless lands in Inkmoth Nexus already hurts some, and having more is pretty awful.
