Basically a MUD deck with red splashed in for a little kick.

The game plan:T1: Island or Mountain into a Judge's Familiar or Nivmagus ElementalT2: Another land, either will do, play Frostburn Weird or hold mana open for a burn spell,T3: Land then Thassa, God of the Sea or leave land open. T4: Purphoros, God of the Forge and pass turnT5: Either build up your devotion a little more and then pass or play Master of Waves and deal some damage because of Purphoros, God of the Forge

I've been hoping that Izzet would get some love, but it really hasn't. Seen quite a few MUD decks and wanted to take a shot at it. I'll post FNM results after I've played it. This Friday is test run number one.

FNM (4/4/14) — April 7, 2014
Edit

2-3

Match 1 was against R/G Monsters. Game one I one with the perfect opening hand an did 12 damage with a MAster and swung in next turn for the kill. Game 2 he just ramped faster then me and smashed my face. Game three was the same as game 2. (1-2)

Match 2 was 5 color Thassa. Friend of mine was homebrewing an interesting 5 color control deck with thassa and master for the win. It went pretty quickly to me. (2-0)

Match 3 was against U/W control. That was fun. Just countered everything then beat me down with n aetherling that I just couldn't stop. (0-2)

Match 4: Janky mono Black build. Not enought removal but a lot of chump blockers. Just sat a built board state both games cause I couldn't draw a master. Finally drew one and dealt 46 damage straight to the face because of purphoros. (2-0)

Match 5: Played an actually mono black build. Just to much removal and I ended up loosing and scooping in game 2 because I was ready to leave. (0-2)
