This is a list for the all promo arts that is currently displaying correctly, the following sets are used:

• Promo set, contains 919 cards. This is the primary promo set! Abbreviated as (000)
• Promo set for Gatherer, contains 83 cards. Abbreviated as (PSG)
• Magic Online Promos, contains 19 cards(only 7 working!). Abbreviated as (MOP)
• Guru lands, contains the five basic guru lands. Abbreviated as (GUR)
• FNM Promos, contains 15 cards. Abbreviated as (FNM)

Discussion

To begin with, a lot of promos doesn't exist in the database.
The simple explanation for this is that we only have a limited number of expansions added to the database. Therefore some cards which have many different promo printings for example basic lands are missing, there is just nowere to put them. Even if I had the power to add more sets I probably wouldn't do so because we want to keept it simple. Having every single promo set in the database wouldn't be managable. It would be confusing for new users also. And there is really a shit ton of different promo sets.

Image quality.
Many cards I've added myself but sadly many promo cards doesn't have any official images provived by wizards. Because of this many of the card images are actually scans, high quality ones though. But I will always prefer to use non-scans as scans are sometimes very dark.

One thing to note is that some cards have duplicate entries. Cultivate is one of these. This is because some unfortunate soul haven't checked if the card already exists in another promo set. So now we have a bad entry in one set(FNM) Bad quality, and a good one in another(PSG) Good quality. Just imagine this problem if users had 100 promo sets to choose from!
Reminder: I don't have the acces to actually remove cards from sets. That must be done manually by an admin.

I recently discovered that there seems to be an new function regarding printing variations for a card. Will investigate this soon and see if it could be helpful regarding promos.
