Locks
Chronatog + Glacial Chasm + Hope of Ghirapur
Stasis + Root Maze + Chronatog
Chronatog + Hope of Ghirapur + Stasis + Root Maze

is the strongest lock and cannot be broken because Hope of Ghirapur Answers all free to cast answers that can break the strategy. A four card lock is unlikely though and it is better to aim for the right lock to win the game.

There are many strategic ways to play this deck but I am not going to write a full primer until I get time to try it out.

This shell is a theory and a starting point for balancing this strategy. It has never been played so the weight and value of the cards are just by theory and have not been balanced out at all so take this list with a grain of salt.

Crop Rotation helps dig out lands that you might need for your combo either forsaken city or glacial chasm depending on what else is needed for the combo.

Once Upon a Time Is there to help with consistency finding combo pieces. One of the locks uses just creatures and lands so this can help you find those pieces. It will bury Stasis and root maze though.

Narset, Parter of Veils Is really strong for this deck. It slows down opponents as well as making Howling Mine one sided, at least until you dig out the rest of your combo pieces. I would really like to see her as a 4 of, but having multiple on the field is not possible so she ends up being a dead card in a lot of situations as a 4 of. A two of does help with consistency though.

Magosi, the Waterveil is on the edge of being removed. I could see it being useful for storing an extra turn at some point. But unless I can find a way to take advantage of it skipping turns it is not as good as it could be.

Force of Will Should be a 3 of as well as Pact of Negation should be a 3 of. Negation is better when you feel that you have a solid lock that you will not loose, but is very risky if they manage to take out your lock and you run out of answers.

Thing that this needs to be better.

The shell as it is, is single minded find a lock and set it. Wining with Black Vise The list is pretty tight, but play-testing should give a better idea of what can go and what is needed.

Rhystic Study This would help in situations where your lock is broken so you don't end up without a hand.
