I felt Kaladesh had laid the groundwork for a red-green beatdown deck with energy that could be a serious threat in standard. I built a version of that deck, and I've been upgrading it set to set. The deck is designed to beat down hard and fast, use removal to take advantage of the tempo of cards that hit hard early, and have some burn to finish out the game if an opponent does stabilize. Following the banning of Attune with Aether, I've tried building it a as a hybrid of energy and mono-red with my pet cards Lathnu Hellion and Voltaic Brawler.
