It's not fancy, but it sure as hell is effective! The only thing that matters is flame-broiling your opponent's face as quickly as possible, preferably done while screaming like you're possessed by a rage demon. The sideboard helps take care of problematic things such as combos, graveyard shenanigans, creature-heavy decks that like to go wide, and pesky artifacts or enchantments like Leyline of Sanctity or Dragon's Claw. Otherwise, you're just showing your opponent pretty pictures of fire and lightning until it kills them.
