In the last few years Ive seen more and more clear what type of deck is my favorite. A good example for this preference is this deck. Ive tried to construct a creature-heavy aggro control deck. I hate to collect cards on the hand and waiting for enought lands while the opponent is pumping up his infantry and playing most of the early without you (and you can put more interesting cards in the deck if you dont need that much lands ;)). I also hate to play non-permanents who are away in the round youve played it or to strictly play your hand and the rest of your strategy is attacking. Thatwhy a creature-heavy aggro control is the most fun to play for me :)The strategy seems simple. Youre playing cheap wheenies who have a good body and usually a nice dowry-effect.Youre pumping up Champion of the Parish in the same move youre slowdown your opponent tapping out dangerous attackers or blockers with Gideon's Lawkeeper, Sunstrike Legionnaire, Court Street Denizen and later in the game Gideon Jura. Champion of the Parish is growing simply while youre playing your humans. Thalia, Guardian of Thraben is slowing down the opponent. Grand Abolisher and Frontline Medic preventing you from battle-tricks and mass destraction and Odric, Master Tactician is the battle-trick himself.
