I've been wanting to build just a straight-forward Simic deck for a while now and now that I have pretty much finished my Slivers of Naya deck, I can now put in my idea of a Simic deck that revolves around the Evolve mechanic. I know that this deck is without the newest Kalonian Hydra but I really don't feel like dropping $30 worth of cards or even the money itself for them. I'll just add them as I come into possession of them.

As I said, the deck is mostly meant to revolve around the evolve mechanic. Vastwood Hydra is the one that made me wanna build this so I run a play set of him, but that may end up dropping down to around 2 - 3 considering he is an X-cost creature. Mainly the reason I have 3 Gyre Sage in the deck to hopefully give me a little added boost in dropping a hydra for a decent creature.

Bred for the Hunt is in mostly for a trial run to see if it is any good in the current meta. I should be able to deal at least some damage with my creatures and since the majority of them will most likely have +1/+1 counters (Sorry Skylasher ) then I should be able to keep a decent number of cards in hand.

Skylasher and Shambleshark are in here due to my unyielding love for them. Skylasher basically just says "Here I am and you can't stop me from entering." It would be possible for him to get counters from either a Vastwood Hydra or maybe even Blessings of Nature if there is no other viable target, like Vastwood Hydra, Simic Manipulator, or Master Biomancer.
