Mono Black with a "Equal to the number of swamps I control" theme. It has boardwipes in the form of Black Sun's Zenith, and Mutilate. It has target creature kills with Tendrils of Corruption , Consume Spirit , and Corrupt . You can straight-up drain your opponent's life with Consume Spirit and Corrupt . The more swamps you control, the more dangerous this deck becomes... My favorite combo in this deck consists of Nightmare , Lashwrithe, Nightmare Lash, and Ring of Xathrid . Aside from the planeswalkers and Cabal Coffers, this is a pretty good budget deck. My only issues with this are that it basically has no early game, and not very many creatures.
