Rakdos deck for kitchentable magic with Demons, Ogres and graveyard stuff. Built around Yukora & Embodiment of Agonies.

This deck has a long story. First my friend made a Rakdos Ogres deck that was something like a midrange deck. It already had Yukora, the Prisoner, Mausoleum Turnkey and Poisonbelly Ogre. Then we decided to buy some cards and build decks in all color combinations and the Ogre deck was replaced.

We made a Sultai deck too, mostly with my ideas. It's a kind of midrange/threshold deck (that I also started to play again online in 2022 and it's also on my profile now).

Later we split the cards. We both kept some and then we both made new decks. I got the cards from the old Rakdos Ogres deck, so once again the deck lived, but I didn't know where to go with it. Later I found Embodiment of Agonies and it hit me that I could make a deck with it and the remaining cards from both the Rakdos and the Sultai decks.

So I made this janky, fun, bit chaotic deck with some pet cards, kept the Ogres/Demons theme and added a graveyad theme. Shoved in as many mana costs as I could for Embodiment, more Ogres for Yukora, removal and graveyard synergies. In this deck, using 1ofs is part of the concept.

Now the deck has the spirit of both the Sultai threshold deck (which I also play again now :D) and the old Rakdos Ogres deck, with new mechanics. Nice addition to my kitchentable collection, a random goodstuff type of deck that can have a lot of outcomes.

In 2024, during a deckbuilding & deck updating process the deck got a few upgrades, coming from a dead Rakdos (Pauper) deck (like the 2 Terminates).
