I went 2-1-1 last FNM, but almost ended up 2-0-2. The main issue with my deck's changes came in the form of lacking mainboard removal. When I side boarded cards in, I was easily able to handle threats, but aggressive decks with larger creatures proved to be too durable for …

I went 2-1-1 last FNM. The big issue I faced was creatures above three toughness, as I couldn't one for one them. There were other issues as well. Lifegain being the primary one, and tempo being another. I decided the best way to handle that was to build into aggressive …

I was destroyed, but the Aethergeode Miner + Aetherstorm Roc + Fabrication Module combo was really good. Far better than the Whirler Virtuoso combo.

Switched Abrade for two more copies of Incendiary Sabotage in the mainboard. Reduced Sweltering Suns in the sideboard by two. The instant speed is more important than the mana cost or cycling ability most of the time.

Replaced Fumigate with Declaration in Stone for more single target creature hate. Replaced Supreme Will with Disallow, because there is already enough draw in the deck and Disallow covers a wider variety of problems. Replaced Eldrazi Displacer with Nimble Obstructionist to give more …

Replaced Eldrazi Skyspawner with Eldrazi Displacer to flicker Rogue Refiner. The two bodies from Eldrazi Skyspawner were better used as removal, but I was worried about having enough creatures.

After looking at the spoilers list for Amonkhet I can honestly say that there are aren't any new cards I would incorporate into this deck. What kinds of cards am I looking for? Cards that enable combos. Aether Revolt brought me Paradox Engine - a better Intruder Alarm in my …

All I can say is thank you to Wizards, and Modern Masters 2017. That drove down the price on 3 of the last 4 acquisitions for this deck, namely: Scalding Tarn, Marsh Flats, and Arid Mesa. I already bought Misty Rainforest for $43 before it was spoiled though, so I …
