Trostani's Judgment

Instant

Exile target creature, then populate. (Create a token that's a copy of a creature token you control.)

I have replaced Trostani's Judgment with Prosperous Partnership, which reduced the average converted mana cost of this deck from 3.67 to 3.62, which is very nice, since the sorcery was simply too expensive for its effect, and the enchantment better fits the theme of this deck.

Everyone here has convinced me to replace Trostani's Judgment with Prosperous Partnership, and I have done so, which significantly reduced the mana curve of the deck, which is very nice.

I’ll add another vote into that bucket. Trostani's Judgment is a really bad card that I see zero reason to run in even the most casual of games.

Crow_Umbra, that is now two votes in favor of replacing Trostani's Judgment with Prosperous Partnership, so I think that one more vote in favor of that card would be sufficient for me to make that exchange.

Taking out Trostani's Judgment is my pick. Just because it has "populate" doesn't mean its good. It doesn't justify the high cost for one target removal.

So, in order to get copies of our addtional attack phase-creating creatures, via Duke Ulder Ravengard or other myriad source, we're going to have to also fit in cards like: Rootborn Defenses and Trostani's Judgment

We'll try some builds and see if it's all worth it. Not sure yet.

I know it’s expensive mana-wise, but Trostani's Judgment has so much flavor!

Hey, you're welcome :)

What's the max budget you have to make card upgrades? When you finish making upgrades what price range can you have for total deck cost? The precon for example at $60 is low and I would hope you could afford at least $50 for upgrades. If you can afford more expensive price cards then my card suggestions will be different then if you can't. Smothering Tithe and Birds of Paradise for example are very good cards for ramp, but they might be too expensive for the budget.

What advice about upgrades would you like?

Some cards from the precon that can be cut since they're not as good as others or don't have good enough synergy with Ghired:
