Turning a noncreature permanent into a creature?

Is there any card, preferably an aura, that simply states something along the lines of “target noncreature permanent becomes a creature...”?

Thereare cards like Ensoul Artifact however I do not believe there are any that just deal with permanents as a generic group.

You can use combinations of cards, like Liquimetal Coating + Karn, Silver Golem or Song of the Dryads or Imprisoned in the Moon + Rude Awakening/Awaken cards/etc. however you'll be hard pressed to achieve it in a single card.

What's your end goal though? It makes it much easier to recommend cards if you have specifics in mind.

There are a lot of ways to do it for artifacts, like Tezzeret the Seeker , Tezzeret the Schemer, and March of the Machines. Don't think there's anyway to do it for any non artifacts though short of turning them into artifacts first with Liquimetal Coating or Mycosynth Lattice first

You can turn all non-aura enchantments into creatures with Starfield of Nyx or Opalescence. With Enchanted Evening, you can change all your (with Starfield), or all (with Opalescence) non-aura permanents into creatures. This will destroy all/all your lands though due to zero toughness.

I second enpc’s point that we really need to know what you’re looking to do before more specific advise can be given.

I think the closest would be a Song of the Dryads with a Life and Limb on the field, it targets, turns it into a creature, but can hit anything.

To those asking, my goal is to make Lunar Force a creature, then equipping Assault Suit to it so I can counter any spell my opponents try to cast and not have to sacrifice it. As far as I could find, that’s the only way to make me not have to sacrifice it for each spell.

Opalescence or Starfield of Nyx would be your best bet there then.

Hesitation also works.

[Starfield of Nyx] won't work due to you losing control of the enchantment-turned-creature. When they get the Assault Suited creature it will cease to be a creature and [Assault Suit] will fall off. With [Opalescence], they'd technically be the controller when they get the enchantment-turned-creature and then could cast spells while they controlled it, on their turn.

I actually have a question. If you were to cast Opalescent or Nyx, what type of creature would they become. More specifically for Roaming Throne trigger purposes....

HandofAnubis Since Opalescence and Starfield of Nyx don't specify a creature type, the creature-fied enchantments don't have creature subtypes.
