The idea of the deck is simple Blue and White control and draw. Pretty defensive with Holy Days and Story Circles protecting against aggro. Tezzeret's Gambit and Steady Progress give you card draw, plus proliferate, adding Filibuster Counters to Azor's Elocutors. Or just use them for card draw, either works, because you'll eventually get them back, as well as other spells, with Elixir of Immortality. Plus 5 life. Not bad. Hindering Light and Dramatic Rescue add some protection for any of your permanents, chiefly Elocutors, but I do run two Isochron Scepters, so they might need looking after, especially when you imprint spells like Holy Day, Dramatic Rescue, or even the dreaded Silence. Most of the time it becomes target number one, so your opponent getting rid of it might buy you an extra turn or two for Elocutors to reach it's 5 Filibuster counter goal. Also, there are two Time Stop in the deck, just for added control when played at the very beginning of your opponents turn, giving you yet another turn for Elocutors. The idea: Stall them and control them as much as possible to win with Azor's Elocutors.
