This deck is a spin off of the lantern control deck. If you aren't aware of how the lantern control deck works I,ll tell you right now. The lantern control deck controls what your opponent draws. Lantern of Insight reveals what your opponent has on top if his/her deck and cards like Codex Shredder mills your opponent one card until you give your opponent a dead draw. Ensnaring Bridge protects your life total as long as you keep your hand empty so it's very important to run low mana cost cards.

It's a very powerful deck but I don't like how slowly it mills the opponent. One. Card. At. A. Time. That's why I made this deck. I wanted to increase the amount of mill without taking out the main cards that makes the deck awesome. I included Hedron Crab in this list because it makes late game land draws still very pertinent. In the mean time Glimpse the Unthinkable is a cheap way to mill a whole lot of cards in one go. Thought Scour and Visions of Beyond are good ways to search for the cards that you need to make Lantern of Insight work.
