Phyrexian Obliterator

You have to run Obliterator in black devotion or you're not doing it right

Lashwrithe could be fun.

I didn't put Lashwrithe in because it doesn't give any devotion and doesn't really work with the deck. By the way you don't get devotion from lands if you thought that. And thanks for the +1 Upvote :)

Would you consider replacing Altar's Reap with Underworld Connections? It's more devotion heavy and you only lose life in the process.

Replace 2 of the gray merchants with 2 Liliana of the Veil, she puts a lot more pressure on the opponents, provides great hand disruption, and combos with Bloodghast. The gray merchants cost too much to be efficient. Liliana comeS out 2 turns earlier.

I will replace two of the Altar's Reap with Underworld Connections because it does help with devotion. But I won't add Liliana of the Veil Because she is way to expensive even though she is great. But I will put her on the maybe board. Thanks both of you for the suggestions. :)

Sign in Blood to replace altar's reap I reckon, it does the same thing but 2 life for a creature

I'll choose Phyrexian Arena every time over Underworld Connections. While it's nice to choose whether you want to pay 1 life, Connections essentially costs a mana, and means if you want to keep tempo on turn 4 or 5 you have to sacrifice extra card draw.

Corrupt is the black mana dump that lets you finish an opponent or stave-off death. Tendrils of Corruption is the smaller version if just want to target creatures.

If you end up finding yourself with plenty of life, consider Divinity of Pride and of course, big black himself, Griselbrand

Oh wow, I'm stupid. I confused Corrupt with Exsanguinate and Profane Command, you don't want Corrupt, that does nothing for devotion.

I agree that Phyrexian Arena is better then Underworld Connections. But I am not going to add Corrupt because in a way Gray Merchant of Asphodel does the same but doesn't target creatures and I also get a creature and it works with devotion. And I will add Griselbrand to the maybe board. Thanks for the ideas :)

I still think I will keep Gray Merchant of Asphodel But I will put Profane Command on the sideboard. :)

I am not going to add Sign in Blood even though it is quite good, because Altar's Reap works with Gravecrawler and Bloodghast also Altar's Reap is a instant and sign in blood is a sorcery. Thanks for the idea :)

Yes I definitely see what you mean and I will put Doom Blade on the side board and Go for the Throat in the main and if your playing a atifact deck you can just switch them out if needed. Thanks for the ideas and +1 Upvote. :)
