This is a deck I’ve wanted to make ever since Ravnica returning (again) was announced. I wanted a deck that pumped creatures, manipulated +1/+1 counters and then does big flashy swings for lethal (if you are winning the game with this deck, it should deal upwards of 30 damage, I think {Playtesting not completed TM})

Cards that I think are cool

I like Incubation Druid since it’s pretty much two mana single use anti-removal spell since it will get killed quickly by smart opponents (or anyone that notices it tapping for 3 mana a turn). In this deck you should be able to satisfy it’s condition easily enough, and if you satisfy it’s condition then you are a whole lot of mana ahead.

Hydroid Krasis is pretty busted, if you didn’t notice from all the Golgari explore players switching to Sultai almost exclusively to get this card for their decks. It’s reasonably cheap mana wise (especially with Incubation Druid or Marwyn, the Nurturer on the board) and is value on a stick. You get life gain, card draw, a big body and some +1/+1 counter synergy with this deck.

Hadana's Climb   was one of the cards that made want to make this deck when this block was announced. It is really satisfying to put counters on everything, and then flip this to made your Hydroid Krasis go Super Saiyan.

Combos and Synergies.

In the sideboard I have Marwyn, the Nurturer and Waker of the Wilds and in the mainboard I have Simic Ascendancy . So the setup is to have played all three of these cards, and to have Marwyn have a lot of +1/+1 counters, and to have some growth counters on Simic Ascendancy. So you tap Marwyn and get 10+ mana, then you tap your five or six (a low estimate considering how long this takes to setup) lands to get enough mana to use Waker of the Wilds’s ability to make a 13/13 land that puts 13 growth counters on Simic Ascendacy, instantly winning the game.

Biogenic Upgrade + Simic Ascendacy + anything. You double the counters on your creature. You get a big creature and some growth counters. It works especially well with Hydroid Krasis since it can generally get a few +1/+1 counters for coming into play.

Marwyn, the Nurturer + Hydroid Krasis. Get a bid Marwyn to tap to get a big creature to give you life, draw, and another oversized body.
