I had this idea a while ago and with the new Exert mechanic i think this is the best moment to try it.

Strategy is simple, give the creatures vigilance and exert them when attacking. So I get all the exert bonus and still have my creatures to block.I also added some other nice creatures that have nice synergies with vigilance.
