Maybeboard

Black is usually thought of as the colour of sacrificing your creatures for some benefit. Thanks to some pie-bending critters and the magic of hybrid mana, the newfangled Strixhaven set has allowed mono-green to get in on this ideology in a big way.

Bayou Groff can be a robust 5/4 for two mana so long as you have a critter to feed it: a turn one Young Wolf or Blisterpod are the perfect fodder and put some quick pressure on your opponent. Daemogoth Titan is the ultimate in low mana cost with big payoff, however, clocking in at an unbelievable 11/10 for only four mana. He needs a sacrifice every turn, rather than just once, but exactly how many times do you think he needs to swing to tidy things up? Of course, Awakening Zone provides all the fodder he'll ever need, conveniently providing a creature token every turn and slipping in just before him on your mana curve.

Rancor provides some much needed Trample to either of your bruisers, letting them stomp past any bothersome blockers before your opponent might stabilize the board. Nature's Lore is also nice for a turn-three Daemogoth.
