Hi Daarkest,
Thanks for the tip I think I have one or two of those, I will have to test what I prefer between that and Cast Down .
Thank you for the suggestion !

While Cast Down does seem like a catch-all, some of the most played creatures in certain decks are legendary. Griselbrand , Jace, Vryn's Prodigy Flip, Vendilion Clique , Sram and Baral in combo decks, and Thalia, Guardian of Thraben . And while Diabolic Edict does give them a choice, most decks will have the cards above out around turn 2, so it is quite possible that you can just pick it off with Edict. Just something to think about. Also, Surgical Extraction (or Extirpate for budget) seem pretty vital here.

Good point on cast down wouldn't Go for the Throat which I found out I had some copies today be even a better choice ?
I had thought about Surgical Extraction and Extirpate but they are pretty pricey I will have to see if I can get some.
Thanks for the great advice!

Love the deck, You could get a lot more out of your Hedron Crab by running fetch lands (if available); triggering that landfall more than once per turn. I know there's a new fetch land coming out in odern horizons that searches basic lands that might be a good budget option. lol Also, Jace's Phantasm and Wight of Precinct Six can get pretty fat in a mill deck if you feel you need more bodies on the field for chump blockers. Phantasm in particular might be a great swap with Wall of Runes

Mfogle thanks for the upvote !
I will check the phantasm as he could indeed be a great blocker for flyers.
I thought about fetchlands but they are quite pricey haha will definitely keep an eye out on the modern horizons set thanks :)
I like also the wight however I really want a deck that only kills through pure mill and I dont think I could resist the temptation of swinging with a huge creature haha
All in all thank you very much for the help and the comment !

mfogle, mill decks tend not to run Wight and Jace's Phantasm because it splits your strategy. Attacking vs. Milling, you pick one.
ChooseWiselySon, Go for the Throat seems like a good card also, I forgot it existed! When its good against decks, it's great. When its bad, board it out for something else. Maybe run non-conditional removal in the board to deal with artifacts. Wierd idea, but Complete Disregard deals with Etched Champion in the affinity matchup, which is when Go for the Throat is bad. It's all up to you though. Great deck!

Daarkest, thanks for the feedback, yeah I feel Complete Disregard could be a good sideboard card for those kind of matchups, I will include it!
I am still unhappy with Ritual of Soot I will look for something else or buy something else when i can.
Thanks for everything!

Yep I think that Damnation will be what I will try to get to further optimise this deck.
I will testing this some more tomorrow and on saturday will post here my results.
Thanks for the ideas and recommendations as always they are great !
