Ever notice how many Thrummingbird s there are? In addition to Thrummingbird, there's Grateful Apparition , which is just a white Thrummingbird, Guildpact Informant , which is a Thrummingbird for one more mana, and even Skyship Plunderer , who is a single-target Thrummingbird with one more power. That's a lot of proliferaters flying around!

With all of sixteen critters ready to pile up the counters, it's not too hard to get a boatload of extra turns from a Magistrate's Scepter . Any three Thrummingbirds and a Scepter means infinite turns, assuming you can get the hits in, as does two proliferaters and two scepters. With that in place, it doesn't matter how puny your creatures are - infinite turns means they'll whittle your opponent down eventually!

Seeing as the other common feature of the various Thrummingbirds is that they all fly, it's likely you'll be able to sail over the heads of most defenders and draw into your win condition with Military Intelligence . If your opponent is fielding some flyers of his own, however, Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive is happy to make every last one of your critters unblockable. Venser, the Sojourner can do the same with his -1, and even if you're hitting your opponent with even a single bird, it will replace that spent loyalty counter each time.
