This is my first attempt at creating a deck. I am definitely looking for suggestions.

The idea was to build a deck around Kiln Fiend, and to be able to play enough instant and sorceries to hopefully be able to win with two attacks, either with Artful Dodge or Distortion Strike .

I wanted to keep the deck sort of cheap, so i left out some obvious choices like rare lands, Preordain, and Serum Visions.

I also chose to keep out bigger creatures like Galvanoth or charm devils because I was hoping the deck would be good for some quicker wins. Spellheart Chimera is decent if the game drags on a while.

A big question I had was whether the Izzet Guildgates were better than just using basic lands. My big worry is that getting a Kiln Fiend and a mountain by by turn 2 might be too much to ask for otherwise, and i definitely need a lot of blue land open for my instants.
