Update #1 —Jan. 29, 2014

Cleared comments. Added 2 Pendelhaven.

The deck has been performing wonderfully so far. Still trying to get my hands on a playset of Birds of Paradise to replace Elvish Mystic.

I feel like Giant Growth is just better than Primal Bellow . You'll more consistently get the +3/+3 from growth and bellow only becomes relevant after your aggro deck has fizzled out.

I've tried both and the two of them have their quirks. That said, you're right, Giant Growth is generally better against most opponents. Primal Bellow , however, can deliver a vital 2 or 3 extra points of damage to most control/combo decks before they click, and is also very useful if the deck suddenly decides to spit out an extra forest of two.

I'll switch them around.

Updated description.

Thanks for the compliments, guys! I haven't had much time to actually play this deck myself, but the few times I've used it it's been a lot of fun!

i used to have a red/green deck like this, back before they banned Bloodbraid Elf . the deck was insane with that card in it. won alot of quick games with it thats for sure. gotta love Primal Forcemage i own a foil set and will never sell em.

@deckmonster99 can you please post a decklist for that deck?

@deckmonster99 : this deck actually began as a red/green brew until I found out Bloodbraid was banned. But it was still tons of fun, with cards like Giant Solifuge , Boggart Ram-Gang , and even good ol' Blitz Hellion .

In the end I ditched the red, but it was for the better. No one expects this much haste from a mono-green deck.

@thatguy42 i no longer have the decklist, but ill list some of the cards i had in it. i used Goblin Guide s,Groundbreaker ,Ball Lightning . with ball lightning and ground breaker i had to us Fire-Lit Thicket s and shock lands with fetch lands. it was a bit price wise but i dont care about that lol. i also used Hellspark Elemental and Hell's Thunder since they have unearth and cant be countered when unearthed. since Bloodbraid Elf s cascade has to be countered seperate as well it was very mean to blue. i never lost a game to a blue deck tbh lol. so turn 1 Goblin Guide to turn 2 Hellspark Elemental or another guide with a Lightning Bolt to turn 3 Primal Forcemage to a turn 4 Bloodbraid Elf rolling into something really big lol. was gg most times pretty quick. at the end of its run i added Spark Elemental s as well they where great. Lightning Bolt s a must have also.

Side board option summoning trap? Birds of paradise could turn ur giant growths into lightning bolts at there face. I would consider dissmember for some removal. Some decks u need really quick removal for.

@anonymousperson184: I like him, but the lack of haste is a pretty big deterrent for this deck. I'll test him in place of Vengevine against decks with graveyard hate.

@eric03202001: Yes, Tarmogoyf is a good card to have. But this is a budget deck.

@goldenrooster: Birds of Paradise is an interesting suggestion. Elvish Mystic has been working fine, but the ability to block fliers sounds like a plus.

This deck actually inspired me to build something similar. You can check it out if you'd like, it's called gotta go fast. I've tweaked it a bit but the core concept is the same. Thanks for the idea! +1
