Overhaul! —Sept. 5, 2012
Removed some cards that I didn't think were necessary, and added some cool stuff like Volrath's Stronghold, Bribery, and Damnation.
It's a great suggestion but Angus isn't quite budget-friendly enough for me at the moment.

How about Trepanation Blade ? simple but deadly.. and the equipment will stay around, you dont even need the creature to hit the player

I've always been a fan of Howling Mine and Font of Mythos in this type of deck.

Yeah. Howling Mine , Temple Bell , Font of Mythos , and Rites of Flourishing are all TurboFog staples. You should also get a Jace, Memory Adept and be packing a lot of graveyard hate. If you play against a Reanimator deck, you're 100% screwed without constant graveyard hate.
See also: Lord of Extinction .

I'm sorry...I don't understand the Forced Fruition win condition. I know it is one, I just can't see it...also, why not run Isochron Scepter so you can Fog (at minimum) once per turn, plus you save your other fogs?

I think he means that Forced Fruition is a strong card that can end the game faster. I don't think it's part of a combo.

Oh ok gotcha. Thanks! Also: perhaps Decree of Pain instead of Plague Wind ...helps you get card advantage out of other creatures' death. Also, Rhystic Study is a pretty amazing card in commander, though it might make you more of a target since only you are drawing cards...but it's still really really good.

I don't have time to edit the decklist at the moment, but I took all of these suggestions into account and added a bunch of cards - thanks!
I don't like Lord of Extinction because he can be chump-blocked all day long and I don't have anything in here to give him any sort of evasion. Can't add much either because then it will detract from the deck's overall purpose.
Isochron Scepter and Decree of Pain are still things I'm thinking about. Plague Wind leaves all my own creatures alive in case I need a beatdown strategy, which is surprisingly available because of all the token generators in here. In the past I've won multiplayer games with Army of the Damned alone.
Forced Fruition is a hilarious win condition, not because it combo'd with anything, but because it mills people out really hard. If they have no maximum hand size it's meh because then they end up with half their deck in their hand (sometimes this is literal), but it's still milling them. But now I added Hive Mind , so Fruition actually does combo with stuff for a reasonable win.
Graveyard hate does seem like a must but I play pretty casually at the moment so I'm not overly worried about it. I'm also not directly going for a mill strategy; this deck pretends to be group hug oriented until people start drawing 10+ cards a turn, and I prefer to mill people out that way. It's because I'm ignored in the early game -- I don't have any aggressive tactics other than helping people draw an extra card or two a turn, and maybe casting a fog or two.

If you want to do TurboFog, I highly recommend trying Angus Mackenzie instead. You don't lose anything important from Black, you can dip into White's additional fog effects, and you can play cheap enchantment tutoring effects to go get Forced Fruition (or Luminarch Ascension , if you add it as an alternate win condition).
