Changes after a long time —Jan. 19, 2018

I decided to cut 2 Wall of Denial to add 2 Snapcaster Mage. This will bring more ressources from the deck.

Dac2, thanks for all these ideas, I'm looking carefuly about every cards you've quoted in your comment! It's espacialy usefull tu make my sideboard (graveyard hate, anti-token,...). I got an Eidolon of Rhetoric and an Aegis of gods, but only 1 of each of them. Let's see if I can do something with that. Anyway, I'll group up every advice I'm given to make this deck as good as possible! Thanks again

Hi, why don't you play Pyroclasm or Slagstorm over Whipflare? You can hit Affinity with them, without really making any difference on your side of the board.

Oh, I didn't know Pyroclasm, indeed, it's a good idea, thanks

Fevered Visions was a card I was going to consider then I realized it may not have played so nicely with trying to have an empty hand for Ensnaring Bridge as I would have to draw during the end steps.

Cool to see a deck like this, I was considering building something like it after I iron out my modern deck.

If you wanna be sure you deal damage to the face you could use Banefire for a big shot :3

Hum, I through about Banefire which is clearly good, but I saw the fireball gives me more control (with direct damage). I don't know if I should remove it from the deck. Anyway, thanks for the advice

In my opinion, i think you should go with Banefire because this deck seems like it will have a hard time closing out games so you kinda want to guarantee that you can get that damage through.

I'll try this, thanks

I feel like the Ebony Owl Netsuke deck is just a little better than this. In it, you run the namesake card with Fevered Visions and often Runeflare Trap with a bunch of effects such as Howling Mine and Dictate of Kruphix. I've seen a few lists running Kefnet the Mindful as well. The pros that deck has over this version is that you have a much more cohesive gameplan that is easier to establish every game, unlike this deck where you have to play mediocre cards such as Curse of the Pierced Heart, Curse of Bloodletting, and Fireball. You could still use Rule of Law and Ghostly Prison in the Ebony Owl Netsuke build, but I would drop the walls.

Indeed you're right, but what I want to do is to make an original deck with it's own flavour, improved by me and a community interested in it. Here, it's flavour is made from curses, that's why it's name is Curse of Drawing. Your comment is still apreciated; I saw some cards I could use. Thanks a lot
