BW Mimic Midrange

Modern

greenyonforever

Sideboard

This is an improved version of the first modern deck I ever built. The general idea of it is focused around the interaction of
Nightsky Mimic and Edge of the Divinity which means that it can function as an aggro-deck if you manage to disrupt your opponents' removal spells or catch them unawares. However most games you want to get into a fight of attrition where you can win through card-advantage and bleed.

A good amount of hand control is included to neutralize your opponents spot removal as well as slow down faster decks in order to survive until midgame, which is where Pillory of the Sleepless and One Thousand Lashes can bleed your opponents to death in a stalemate.

I was also pretty exited to find out how well the deck synergizes with Orzhov Charm. You can use it to bounce your mimics and auras to save them from removal, as basic spot removal, or respond to Tidehollow Sculler 's ETB-trigger to permanently exile a card from an opponents' hand.

Any suggestions on improvements are welcome, though as this is a budget list, cards such as Thoughtseize are out of the range at the moment.
