This is my home brew quick super budget defender mill mono blue deck. I love mill and wanted to find a way to make it more consistent where not only are you trying to mill but you have a little defense as well. I took this to my local modern tourney and went top 8. 3-2. It's very eh obviously but it does work pretty well. Loses every time to merfolk (obviously) but without the islandwalk this deck can defend much better than it seems. I'd love to see what everyone else on here has to say and suggestions are highly appreciated. Doorkeeper was at 4 but I took him to 2 after realizing his effect never really comes into play. Thinking about replacing with Sands of Delirium to just mill the excess mana you have on their end step. Besides that this is a pretty straightforward deck, funny enough you're winning just as often with Jace's Phantasm than you are with mill. Thought about taking out Jace, Memory Adept but 1 of him is actually pretty consistent and game winning late when you have the defenders waiting for his 0. It really does work.

REMEMBER My goal is to make this as budget as possible and keep it mono blue. I'm open to black splash but that opens more pricey cards. I don't want this to be turned into blue black mill because that archetype is totally different. (my fave)
