Hydra Ramp

This deck was one I built for fun to mess with my friends. I'd played eldrazi cards ever since I discovered them, to the point of my friends not playing me if I brought my pauper eldrazi deck. This would be normal, until you realize that they were playing decks like Consuming Aberration mill, Mono white humans buffing each other up with Brisela, Voice of Nightmares thrown in for good measure and B/G constrictor (I'm mad at this guy more than anything, who brings a tier 1 competitive deck to a game with friends? That's like if I brought my Tron list to teach a new player Magic, it's not much fun for the other guy). For reference, here's a B/G constrictor deck by Bobby02gideon, Black green constrictor. What I like about this deck is the fact that it's a combo deck that can go infinite turn 4 or 5 if you get the perfect draws. You get out a Training Grounds along with an Eldrazi Displacer, then play a creature like Kozilek's Predator or Emrakul's Hatcher. Then you use Eldrazi Displacer's ability to bounce them, creating more spawn tokens. With Training Grounds out, the displacer's ability costs only 1 colorless mana, and creates 2 or 3 spawn that sack for more mana. Essentially you get infinite spawn tokens which you can then use later for life gain with Tomb of the Spirit Dragon or for infinite X/X hydra tokens with Hydra Broodmaster. The fun part is, it still works without going infinite, as you can just stockpile your mana turn after turn by bouncing a creature the normal way and creating spawn mana that lasts through your turns. In a pinch, the Eldrazi Displacer also makes a lot of chump blockers, making your oppenents agonize over combat if they don't have trample. All in all, this is just a fun deck I made to show my friends that I didn't need expensive legendaries or gigantic Eldrazi's to trample the world underfoot.
