This is the Standard-specific advertise-your-deck thread!

Standard format rules

Here are the rules:

  1. You may link one of your decks in each of your posts. Do not list more than one deck per post.
  2. When you post, you must offer feedback on the deck posted immediately before yours (leave the feedback on that deck's page). This feedback needs to be genuine; "Cool deck" replies don't count. Try to be as helpful as possible.
  3. You may not post another deck in this thread again until a week after your previous deck post (by the day, not the exact minute). This is to make sure that other participants have a fair chance of getting some attention.
  4. Do not post unrelated comments in this thread. Leave the deck discussion on the deck pages. Additionally, don't comment just to subscribe to this thread. Use the subscribe button at the bottom of the page.
  5. This thread is stickied and does not expire.

When you share one of your decks, you should offer some information about what you want it to do, what specifically you think you need help with, etc. The more information you give people about your deck, the better the help you're likely to receive.

You're also encouraged to use the deck-large format to make your decks more visible:

[[deck-large:Dominus-Dreamcrusher Edition]]

While you're here, check out these recommendations for other ways to get views on your deck.

If you're feeling up to it, you can also try to write a primer for your deck.

This is a relatively simple G/W humans deck. While it lacks the "oomph" of the meta tokens deck, it makes up for it by mixing the aggressive efficiency of mono-W humans with the consistency of Bant CoCo, hitting somewhere in the middle of the two decks in terms of efficiency and aggression, while having strong removal and investigating more than the Hardy Boys. So far, it's been a fun deck to play, being a great place to put the playset of Gideons I pulled during during BFZ and the Avacyns my playcircle refuses to play.

I wanted to try to make a burn deck in standard. Specifically the theme was how many virtual copies of the card Lightning Bolt could I fit into a deck. To this end it is a Red Black madness deck that runs 4 Fiery Temper and 4 Alms of the Vein. The janky theme aside, it is pretty fast, but I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on how to make it faster or any tips to make it more viable in general. OKay, before khans and fate rotated out, I had a deck that advertised a turn 2 Kytheon flip. I realized only now how much of a missed opportunity making a deck completely based around that was. Until I noticed, I could still do it. This deck usually will deal 20+ damage turn , mostly due to an army of indestructible, menacing, double-striking, things, yeah, turn two, kytheon flip, you're welcome, Flipping Kytheon!!!

Best I can do is a turn 6 takeoff (without dealing with pesky removal). Can you do better? Let me know if you have any shell ideas...not that you have a lot of shell to work with with a 4 CARD COMBO :D

Hey everybody! I'm currently working on a rakdos control deck that I feel has a lot of potential. This deck is meant to be competitive, and I would really like to stick with the dragon sub-theme. The deck has done well in testing, and I would getting help taking it to the next level!!

Rakdos Control

May 15, 2016 5:44 p.m.

Jdw84 says... #18

For ThePsychoVerse's Rakdos control!, Personally I would remove Mortuary Mire as I never think it warrents its benifits and replace it with Cinder Barrens or even another Blighted Fen for the ability to remove a creature. I would say replacing one of the Ob Nixilis Reignited with a Sorin, Grim Nemesis for the +1 life gain potential and the -x damage and potentually the -9 for lifelink vampire knights equal to highest player life.

And you could lose 1 or 2 Read the Bones for an extra Languish.

those are my first thoughts any way

any advice for improving my quick build of Dimir Eldrazi, which I would love Jace for but am not willing to spend that much on one card.

cheers in advance.

Here's my deck:

Abzan Past (SOI)

I would appreciate any advice.

This deck has done pretty well against my friends playing B/W Tokens and U/B Spirits. An earlier version had mixed results at my LGS's FNM though I only played against B/G Seasons Past and 3x B/G Aristocrats. The games were long and I drew most rounds.

My local meta is full of Token/Weenie/Aristocrat decks.

I love the combo of Seasons Past and Dark Petition and I enjoy keeping the board clean of creatures, rendering my opponent's removal pointless, and slowly gaining massive card advantage with several options of how to win the game at my leisure.

Thanks in advance for taking a look.

Had a similar build that struggled at FNM running B/R now I've thrown in Green for an earlier board presence with Sylvan Advocate, Tireless Tracker, a couple good sideboard cards, a little Ramp, and my favorite card of all time Dragonlord Atarka. Any help on it would be nice plus I think this build needs to be advertised cause I think it is going to be very competitive. I've seen a couple other similar builds winning FNMs consistently and will be sure to update on the deck page about how well I do.
