Building a Draft

I drafted my cube with some of my friends and thought I drafted pretty well.

So having drafted this, I built a RG deck splashing black, playing 16 lands. However, nearly every game I got mana flooded. How should I have built this deck to not get mana flooded? Thanks for the help.

Well, we can see the pool you drafted, but not the deck you built or the cube it was drafted from. Judging by the cards, I assume it is a Peasant cube. You drafted somehow 3 blur slivers (was it not singleton?)

Needs more details before a conclusive answer can be drawn. Copy the deck you actually built out of the cards for more information.

Here's my build of the deck:

The cube is just unpowered and non-singleton, mostly to support slivers.

Even in a draft built to support slivers, I probably would not draft 3 Blur Sliver (or even 1). Honestly with four cards that search up a basic and just 16 lands, I have no idea how you ever flooded. Seems more luck-based than anything else.

I have not perused the cube, but the deck is OK (silklash spider is too good to leave in the side for example) but it is an OK deck that should function well.
