Need a Win Condition

I am currently working on a casual Wizard EDH deck, but I'm not entirely sure how to approach it. I've made some progress with the decklist, but as the title says, it lacks a clear win condition. I don't want any kind of infinite or instant win combos, as this is a casual EDH. Any feedback is appreciated, I want this deck to be fun to play.

Well, if you don't want any combo's (I would've suggested Mind Over MatterMTG Card: Mind Over Matter + Azami, Lady of ScrollsMTG Card: Azami, Lady of Scrolls + Psychosis CrawlerMTG Card: Psychosis Crawler) or instant win things (Mind Over MatterMTG Card: Mind Over Matter + High TideMTG Card: High Tide + Blue Sun's ZenithMTG Card: Blue Sun's Zenith) I would suggest playing something really, really big, and protecting it with counter's and whatnot.

Something like Trench GorgerMTG Card: Trench Gorger, and you just exile the rest of your lands. A friend of mine played an Arcanis the OmnipotentMTG Card: Arcanis the Omnipotent EDH and played 33 Counterspells, Arcanis, and Trench Gorger to win.

It's hard to find a solid win condition in blue that doesn't involve some combo or instant win. I enjoy strapping swords to efficient creatures and beating someone to death with them (Vendilion CliqueMTG Card: Vendilion Clique + Sword of Fire and IceMTG Card: Sword of Fire and Ice + Sword of Feast and FamineMTG Card: Sword of Feast and Famine = scoop!).

I built an Azami, Lady of Scrolls EDH deck. Check it out if you'd like.

It really is difficult to find a real win condition in mono Blue that isn't cheap or dirty. I'm not a huge fan of Trench GorgerMTG Card: Trench Gorger, since he is likely to be removed. I was considering throwing in a Psychosis CrawlerMTG Card: Psychosis Crawler, but you so kindly reminded me that that would win instantly with Mind Over MatterMTG Card: Mind Over Matter. In fact, there are many infinite/instant win combos with Mind Over MatterMTG Card: Mind Over Matter, and quite a few with Intruder AlarmMTG Card: Intruder Alarm, but I like both cards and would like to run them. I may just have to make this into a combo deck and choose a different general for a fun deck. Thank you for the feedback, your deck looks pretty solid!

Check out my Arcanis the OmnipotentMTG Card: Arcanis the Omnipotent deck mate, it too is for casual so I have some big not unfair blue creatures and for if people piss me off a Psychosis CrawlerMTG Card: Psychosis Crawler combo and Jushi ApprenticeMTG Card: Jushi Apprentice in there but it is for casual so rather than 30 counters which is boring i run bounce so i can defend myself but not insight rage by countering peoples threats lol you may find some stuff useful in there. my favourite is Tidespout TyrantMTG Card: Tidespout Tyrant hes amazing and i wish he was legendary! play him copy him a few times and cast BoomerangMTG Card: Boomerang and let the good times roll! alternatively as this is a wizard deck you have be a pro and run Supreme InquisitorMTG Card: Supreme Inquisitor as one of your win cons and Lullmage MentorMTG Card: Lullmage Mentor otherwise use Patron of the MoonMTG Card: Patron of the Moon and Meloku the Clouded MirrorMTG Card: Meloku the Clouded Mirror with a Training GroundsMTG Card: Training Grounds hopefully some of these meet your approval dude :-)

I'm not sure where you are going with Patron of the MoonMTG Card: Patron of the Moon + Meloku the Clouded MirrorMTG Card: Meloku the Clouded Mirror + Training GroundsMTG Card: Training Grounds, since Training GroundsMTG Card: Training Grounds cannot reduce the cost to use their abilities to less than 1. Did you have a look at my actual deck by the way? I do indeed run Supreme InquisitorMTG Card: Supreme Inquisitor and a combo with Lullmage MentorMTG Card: Lullmage Mentor + Artificial EvolutionMTG Card: Artificial Evolution. Tidespout TyrantMTG Card: Tidespout Tyrant could definitely wreak havoc on an opponent's field, but it costs way too much mana for me to justify running it without Dream HallsMTG Card: Dream Halls or some other janky way to put it into play. On that note, I think I'll add Dream HallsMTG Card: Dream Halls and Tidespout TyrantMTG Card: Tidespout Tyrant, so thank you much for the suggestions maiden77!

sorry I thought off top of my head one of their abilities costed 2! i was rushing as im at work lol, i use Quicksilver AmuletMTG Card: Quicksilver Amulet to cheat my stuff out lol or just wait while stalling as it is for casual multiplayer so usually get away with something cheaky, i will look at your deck now mate glad I helped a little! haha
