Sacrificing creatures for mana

Commander Deck Help forum

I'm looking to find (repeatable) ways of sacrificing creatures to generate mana for my Ghave, Guru of Spores deck (here it is: Guru of Infinity). Currently, I'm using Ashnod's Altar and Phyrexian Altar (as well as Utopia Mycon which is a little more limited) but going infinite is heavily dependent on me finding one of those. I don't care if it's a creature or enchantment or whatever, would just love some ways of improving the consistency. Thanks!

Food Chain is the only other one I can think of that's of that nature, but I'm sure there are plenty others.

It takes a few cards, but here are some infinite combos:

The Phyrexian Altar plus Kitchen Finks plus a way to remove or keep off -1/-1 counters plus anything to make your creatures cheaper, such as Heartless Summoning or Emerald Medallion.

Either altar, Cathodion, Glissa, the Traitor, and any Grave Pact effect.

There are probably more, I'll write them up if I think of any.

@Sloanan I wish Food Chain could be used to pay for ghave's effects :( I'll see if I can make it fit anywhere.

@Epidilius I have things like Champion of Lambholt and Field of Souls that go infinite with persist, I agree that it's great. What I was after was effects similar to that of the altar as alternatives to it, incase I don't find the right tutors

@EludeMerlange I have literally all of those cards in the deck xD. I'll link it in the post for reference.

I didn't see a decklist given so I can't tell if the cards I'm about to mention are already in it. That said, usually Ghave combos out through a mixture of the sacrifice outlets you already have and cards like: Earthcraft + Fertile Ground , Blade of the Bloodchief, Geralf's Messenger or Strangleroot Geist or Young Wolf, and Illusionist's Bracers.

I'm sure you have at least a few of these already if you're building Ghave combo rather than token swarm. I only bring this up because a lot of the Ghave combo pieces together don't actually produce - or need - infinite mana. What they need is a self-sustaining loop.

Blade of the Bloodchief is very interesting, it adds another way to combo with persist. Illusionist's Bracers lets me get infinite mana with Phyrexian Altar which is nice - I'll have to play around with that. Here's the deck in large format:
