Rakdos protection spells

I am starting a Rakdos, Lord of Riots edh and I am having trouble finding good protection other than Lightning Greaves and Swiftfoot Boots.
Anything in Rakdos colors that function similarly to cards like Brave the Elements, Spellskite, Sylvan Safekeeper. Instant speed protection as opposed to sorcery speed artifact protection.

My Rakdos, Lord of Riots EDH runs a Soul of New Phyrexia that pans out fairly well - because you're getting discounts on creatures typically the six mana winds up just laying around. Aside from that, there's funky little cards like Undying Evil if you wind up desperately needing the extra safety. Skeletal Grimace or other regeneration effects, maybe.

You could run Darksteel Plate which is good because the artifact itself also is indestructible.

You can play the appropriate Swords against the colors that are causing issues for you; i.e. Sword of War and Peace, Sword of Body and Mind, Sword of Light and Shadow, Sword of Feast and Famine, Sword of Fire and Ice. In addition to hard protection, they offer additional bonuses.
There are a couple of other Equipment cards that offer shroud and other things...Whispersilk Cloak and its ilk. Ring of Xathrid allows you to regenerate against several types of generic board wipes.

I guess you could try Imp's Mischief. It functions a lot like Spellskite in terms of just changing the target of the spell.

Thank you all! I tuned it so in 1 vs 1 I can use discard to snipe removal early. Multiplayer I just need to use artifact equips and hope someone else has something scarier.

That's the thing. Black/Red doesn't usually get protection. Your best bets are the ones you've mentioned.
