Merfolk/Counters Synergy, I've played FNM with it twice now and imo it's not quite there. Control out classes me in late game, and aggro beat me down too much before I start to take off. A few things I noticed is the value of Unsummon against the majority of ops at my locals.

Side tech flavor favor <3 2 Failure//ComplyThis build has changed a great deal thru trial and error at my local FNM events. Read the updates if u want to but the current deck list is what I found I've had the most luck with. but I traded my mimics off and I plan on adding them back. lmk if you like or dislike my take on it. honest truth is The deck ain't as good as I planned originally, however I think it is a fun tribe with it's fin in the door at least.(mine is a low budget build). Tell you what though, this deck can surprise em with occasional wins when the cards fall right. Unsummon is a standard all star if u ask me. #MVP

I love Siren Stormtamer in every match-up. Ultimately I desided to bump it up to 3 and drop Spell Pierce all together. I borrowed a couple Nissa, Steward of Elements from a friend for tournament recently and her +2 scry Is so Amazing. I decided to purchase my own asap.

I been playing online on my buddies Steam account, and omg dude. Rather then play a bomb like gearhulk I been testing Armorcraft Judge as the payoff for counters strategy and the ETB trigger is exactly what I needed to get that last bit in. I feel like once I get my mimics back if I drop a Nissa in it I'll be set. on paper it may seam weak as a 3\3 vanilla non-merfolk, but its been at least 2-3 cards etb when I was on empty in the games I played it. It's a descent budget alternative to The enchant ramp into that 7drop merfolk Tissa something. I'll let u know how it goes, Monday imma play standard at #The Game Haven.
