The idea with this deck is to get +1/+1 counters on your creatures. Not only does it ramp your creatures up but it also plays nice with cards like Avatar of the Resolute. This also allows you to take advantage of the abilities of Chronicler of Heroes to help move the deck along.

Phalanx Leader is really quite amazing with this deck. I'm not crazy about the cost however you can play it then use Nature's Panoply on it. That way you end up with a 3/3 for 3 mana and all of your other creatures get a +1/+1 counter. Not too shabby.

Servant of the Scale is really a quite amazing card in this deck. It's always great to have a 1 drop creature to slow down Aggro decks and if this one dies you get to move his counter!

Gleam of Authority is a finisher in this deck as you can ramp up a creature by a lot.

Fleecemane Lion is just a cool card from its graphics to the mana cost. This would be a great card to ramp up as for 5 mana you can make it monstrous and make it indesctrutable!
